Consignment Contract

I will bring in clothing if in-season, gently worn, freshly laundered (free of odors), pressed and one item per hanger. A maximum of 15 items initially and 25 items per visit thereafter. Clthing without a size or brand name cannot be accepted.
I accept the prices that Fashion Exchange chooses to sell my items at. If I desire a certain price on an item, this must be agreed upon at the time my item(s) are brought in.
An itemized statement of my clothing will be made available for pick up one week after my items have been accepted for consignment.
Consignors will be paid 40% of the selling price. Periodic store sales will be done and I will not be notified if my items will be sold at a sale price.
I understand my items will consign for 90 days. After 60 days any unsold items will be marked down 30%. It is my reponsibility to pick up any unsold items at the end of 90 days or they become the property of Fashion Exchange to sell or donate. A two day notice is required before picking up unsold items. Any items that have been pulled and not picked up within 7 days will be donated.
A check will be issued on the 15th of the month for accounts that sold $20 or more from sales of the previous month(s). Account balances less than $20 will be paid out in cash at the end of 90 days; provided there are no other clothes remaining in your account. For a fee of $1.50, a check can be mailed out to accounts that reach $20 or more. All checks become null and void after 90 days from date of issuance. A new check will not be re-issued. Any money remaining in dormant accounts for 90 days will be forfieted. It is my responsibility to keep track of my account's activities.
Fashion Exchange will attempt to be as careful and trustworthy as possible. I will not hold them liable for fire, theft or damage to any of my merchandise. |
